Publications

A Pioneer History of South Australia
Recently published by the Association, with assistance from Encounter 2002, is "A Pioneer History of South Australia" - a B5 size, 230 page hardback publication compiled of extracts from many of the Association's previous publications. The book has sections on the foundation of the colony, emigration to South Australia, life in early Adelaide, development of the town and the spread of settlement into rural South Australia. There are many black and white, and colour illustrations, some of which have never been published before.

$50, plus postage - $7 in South Australia, $9 elsewhere in Australia with a further $3 per copy for additional copies posted to the one address at the same time. Postage costs may be saved by collecting the book from the Association's office at the opening times listed on our Contact page.

Other Publications

Over the years the Pioneers Association of South Australia Inc has published many leaflets relating to the pioneer settlers and early history of South Australia. Copies of all are available, either from the original printing or photocopies where the original print has been sold out.
